I used a few items like my Tracer projection machine and even some Folk Art brand brand color shift paints and the Nouveau style came popping through! I would love to try it using gallery glass paints and leading with the design gn on opposite side of glass as a template soon! The possibilities are endless! Once I have used the pages for my embellishments I plan to make DIY lamp shades with them as they are a good safe material for such use and who doesn't love ambient lighting?! My biggest mistake was to review at first glance.The designs are STAINED GLASS Art Nouveau styles and they are smaller than I thought they would be but any DIYer worth their salt salt can take this book and use it as a base for many wonderful projects! Projection will enlarge the designs for tracing onto larger pices of various papers and other materials, can be used as a template on opaque fabrics, glass and other materials! I held it in front of a simple dollar store hand mirror and painted just the parts of the designs I wanted of the designs as a border in metallics and Folk Art's color shift paints on the mirror then used some super fine steel wool and other effects to age the piece, then sparingly added some craft twigs, stiffened fabric flowers, leaves and gave the whole thing a metallic effect. Updated review, at first I didn't think this item was true to the description, not quite authentic Art Nouveau but upon working with it I have to say it can be deceiving at first glance.
